At White’s Wood Academy, we teach our children to understand the chronology of this complex story and to identify the significant dates, events, turning points and individuals within it. We teach them to critically question history based upon the validity and reliability of the sources and evidence available.
By acquiring the key knowledge and skills associated with this subject, our pupils understand the world that they live in today and to recognise how this may impact upon the world that we see tomorrow.
